Country roads are sometimes hard to light because they generally require expensive work to connect them to the grid, which may not be nearby due to its remote location. Of course, the very fact that LED street lights with solar system do not have to connect to the grid means they are perfectly suited.
In 2019, the village in Jordan has chosen to implant 3000 sets of public solar street lights to secure its rural roads.
